Our client in San Francisco is a full service architectural and engineering design firm with over 30 years of experience on thousands of projects of various sizes. Our primary focus is on multifamily residential buildings in the Bay Area and San Francisco in particular. Our clients range from large developers to first-time homeowners, and our multidisciplinary approach allows us control over all phases of design from site planning through construction administration. Our diverse team is collaborative, supportive, and engaging. Every team member is exposed to projects of varying sizes and scopes allowing for an engaging work environment. We are currently seeking self-motivated structural engineers with ample experience in a wood frame and concrete buildings. The ideal candidate would have excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate with a multidisciplinary team. responsibilities

  • Our team is focused on the design of new and existing concrete, wood and steel buildings. Our ideal team member will be able to perform structural calculations, detail, and design the structures in coordination with our architectural team.

requirements

  • 2+ years of experience

  • California PE license, SE preferred

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients
    Understanding of relevant codes/standards (CBC, ASCE 7, ASCE 41, ACI, AISC, and NDS)

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

  • Required education: Bachelor's

  • Required experience: Structural design: 5 years
