Introduction

Our client is seeking a talented and seasoned Technical Product Manager with a strong background in data to drive product development of our core technology stack. You will be the product champion for all data products, APIs, and core architecture in a fast-growing start-up environment. You will drive development from start to finish, working with engineering, data, and cross-functional executive stakeholders with substantial impact and visibility within the organization.

  • Serve as the technical product manager for core technology at our client, driving all product efforts including requirements scoping, architecture discussions, and owning the product roadmap

  • Manage the full product lifecycle, working closely with engineers as scrum master to drive new feature development from start to finish

  • Analyze quantitative data and use it to inform your product strategy and roadmap

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2-4 years of product management experience with a proven track record of successfully launching products with an emphasis on data

  • A background of demonstrated product leadership from concept to launch, including strategy, writing technical specifications, testing, development, and analysis

  • Familiarity with MySQL, ETL processes, Rails, and API development

  • Proficient in command-line use

  • Experience establishing Agile processes and influencing best practices across a growing product and engineering organization

  • Experience developing internal tools, system architecture, billing systems, and communications platforms a plus

  • Previous programming experience preferred
